The Medical University of South Carolina in Florence, SC, is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join the Radiology team. This role performs all mammography procedures under the Radiologist and Radiology Director, with emphasis on QA, regulatory compliance, and patient care across diverse demographics.
The candidate must have ARRT certification in Radiography with mammography training, hold SCRQSA licensure, and possess CPR.

The Mammography Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all Mammography procedures in accordance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, state regulations, and departmental policies. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. Responsible for QA maintenance, regulatory compliance, survey preparations, and competencies. The Technologist must exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics. Other duties as deemed necessary.
Graduate of an approved, accredited A.R.R.T. program. Documented mammography training.
One year of diagnostic radiology experience is preferred, and at least one year mammography experience is required, proving initiative and sound judgment required for utilizing and maintaining established guidelines of care by the MQSA.
