Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community safe, attractive, and well maintained. You will help manage the maintenance budget and coordinate with residents and staff to ensure smooth operations.

This role requires 1+ years of relevant experience, a compassionate approach to elder care, and strong communication and organizational skills. A valid driver license is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience (1+ years preferred).
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must have valid driver license.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Community is safe for residents and staff.
• Ensure the Community is attractive and well maintained.
• Operate within the Community maintenance budget.
