Centurion Health is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, GA. The role supports holistic patient care under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Day shift 6am-4:30pm with rotating weekends, in a correctional health setting. Requirements include an LPN license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Shift Available: Days 6am-4:30pm, with rotating weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
