Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Smith State Prison located in Glennville, Georgia. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff.

The position requires a High School Diploma/GED, an active LPN license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Day shift; 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends. Pay scale $29-$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs of inmates.
