Job summary

Southern Health Partners in Shelbyville, TN is seeking an LPN to provide quality care at Bedford County Jail. The role offers a ¾ 12-Hour Day Shift Rotation with EVO weekends, enabling focused patient management in a correctional setting.

The LPN will administer medications, monitor patient progress, document accurately, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, compliant care for an underserved population.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required and active in Tennessee.
• Experience in correctional or clinical care environments is preferred.
• Ability to perform nursing duties within state scope-of-practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on patient care and monitor patient condition and progress.
• Administer medications according to established standards and procedures.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform nursing assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Assist with emergency care and use sound clinical judgment.
• Communicate and collaborate with providers and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow applicable state scope-of-practice guidelines and correctional healthcare protocols.
