Job summary

The Village of St. Edward Communities in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill a Charge Nurse role in our assisted living/memory care facility.

The position offers a caring, faith-based environment with a focus on resident-centered care and team leadership. The LPN will perform direct resident care, supervise nursing assistants, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in assisted living/memory care setting or a long-term care setting.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Charge Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)) works independently to provide direct resident care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; supervises and directs care provided by nursing assistants; participates in continued professional development; performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred experience in assisted living/memory care setting or a long-term care setting

REQUIREMENTS

• Good physical and mental health.
• Possesses the necessary dexterity to perform injections, IVS, etc.
• Able to lift, push and pull 35-50 pounds independently, and over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.
• Walks, stands, and sits intermittently during the day.
• Follow all Infection Control practices.
• Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday in certain positions
• Must have reliable transportation
