Full-time 40 hours weekly Must be available to work public service hours ; which includes and occasional evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The Librarian will support the work of the library and any specific subject matter areas as identified or assigned, based upon present and future community needs, resources, staff expertise, and innovative practices related to a subject area and/or library and information. The Librarian is responsible for ensuring library patrons have necessary resources to learn and explore topics of interest through the creation of educational programs and fostering meaningful community relationships. The work of the Librarian builds upon the work of Library Assistants and Assistant Librarians in engaging with patrons, providing programs and services, and being information professionals.

Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Work requires preparing or analyzing written or computer data, use of measuring devices, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activities. Work occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).
