Environment Control Ohio Valley is seeking a reliable Lead Floor Care / Janitorial Technician to join our team. The role focuses on leading floor care crews, performing routine and deep cleaning, and ensuring safe, clean facilities.

Evenings with daytime shifts as needed; you must have lead experience, training new employees, supervising multiple sites, and managing supplies. Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check are required. We provide competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with stripping, waxing, buffing and general floor maintenance.
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers).
• Knowledge of floor care products and safety procedures.
• Lead floor care experience preferred, including leading teams and supervising multiple job sites.
• Experience training and onboarding new employees.
• Experience managing inventory and ordering cleaning supplies.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.

Floor Care / Janitorial Technician

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Floor Care / Janitorial Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities.

The position primarily involves evening hours, but availability for daytime shifts is required when needed. Advance notice will be provided.

Requirements:

• Previous floor care experience is preferred ,including stripping, waxing, buffing, and general floor maintenance
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers, etc.)
• Knowledge of proper floor care products and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Must be dependable and punctual

What You'll Need:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone for scheduling
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a national background check
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Lead Floor Technician, Floor Care Supervisor, Janitorial Lead, or Crew Leader
• Experience overseeing floor care projects in commercial facilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple job sites and prioritize workloads effectively
