Job summary

Marsden Holding Company, doing business as CleanPower, is a facility services provider offering cleaning and maintenance across the United States. This role, based in Appleton, WI, requires physical stamina and strict safety adherence for cleaning and flooring tasks in commercial spaces.

Shifts are full-time with a typical M-F schedule, starting in the late afternoon and continuing into the evening. A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required, and benefits begin after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• Valid driver's license and pass driving background.
• Ability to follow and understand all labels and directions on chemicals/products used by the Specialty Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refinish hard surface floors with machines and cleaning supplies.
• Scrub and refinish various floor types including concrete, ceramic, marble, terrazzo.
• Perform carpet care including extraction and dry foam methods.
• Assist with moving furniture and completing daily paperwork and safety reporting.

Shift: M-F 4/4:30pm to 1:00am (Full time)

Hourly Rate: $18.00/hour

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Valid driver's license and pass driving background
• Must be able to follow and understand all manufacture labels and directions on any and all chemicals/products used by the Specialty Services Department.
• Construction Clean/Final Clean newly constructed/remodeled structures as to allow tenant occupancy.
• Heavy lifting is required while completing work in the Specialty Services Department. There will be other employees present to assist with any of the lifting as to allow for the furniture and other items to be removed and or replaced safely.
• Must complete all paperwork related to job orders and work orders assigned each day and bring any and all safety related issues up to your lead person and or manager immediately.
• Perform any and all other duties assigned related to the Specialty Services Division.

Job Duties:

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be performing the following duties:

• Strip and refinish hard surface floors using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub and refinish hard surface floors using using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub concrete floors using low speed swing machine, autoscrubber, rider sweeper scrubber and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub ceramic, marble, terrazzo, and/or other specialized flooring using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Carpet extraction using self-contained carpet extractors, minispotters and other carpet care related equipment and supplies…
• Dry foam carpeting using a Taski Ergo disk dry foam machine.
• Bonnet clean using low speed swing machine, bonnets and other related equipment and supplies.
• CFR carpet and upholstered furniture using CRF wet extraction equipment and CFR supplies.
