Job summary

Manheim Central School District is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Custodian for our High School. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff at our newly renovated facility.

The regular shift runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a half-hour unpaid break; summer hours are four 10-hour days (6 AM–4 PM) with Fridays off. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restroom upkeep, addressing hazards, disinfecting surfaces, restocking

Qualifications

• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Job Description

The Manheim Central School District is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Custodian to join our team. As a custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our learners, staff, and community members at our newly rennovated High School.

Responsibilities:

• Performing regular facility care duties: You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the school building. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom maintenance.
• Ensuring a safe environment: You will contribute to the safety of our learners, staff, and community members by promptly addressing any potential hazards or concerns, such as spills, debris, or equipment malfunctions.
• Upholding sanitary standards: Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment. You will be responsible for disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and following proper sanitation protocols.

Position Details

• Full-Time, 12-Month Position
