Job summary

Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylorsville, NC is seeking a friendly, professional Full-Time Evening Receptionist to join our team. As a first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, the receptionist helps create a warm, welcoming environment while providing administrative support.

This is a full-time evening role with every-other-weekend availability required, including greeting guests, answering calls, managing sign-in, handling mail, and maintaining a tidy

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Dependable and able to work evenings and every other weekend.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Manage visitor sign-in and screening procedures.
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Perform filing, copying, and other clerical duties as needed.
• Assist residents and families with general questions.
• Communicate effectively with nursing, administrative, and other facility departments.
• Provide professional and dependable front desk coverage during evening hours.
