Rose Senior Living Avon is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our culinary team!

The Utility / Dishwasher provides hands-on support in the Culinary Services Department, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas and equipment, and may assist with basic food preparation. Join a team that values service and care.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• High school sophomore year completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary food service areas, facilities, and equipment.
• Assist in ware-washing system setup and breakdown, dish washing, pot washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Assist serving staff with setting tables and clearing tables.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and food service areas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Utility / Dishwasher provides full-scope, hands on various food service functions in a community Culinary Services Department. Responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary condition of food service areas, facilities, and equipment. May assist in some aspects of food preparation. Is responsible for providing a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dishwasher:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Perform kitchen activities including: ware-washing system set-up and break down, dish washing, pot washing, general cleaning duties, storing of food and non-food supplies, and prep production.
• Assist serving staff with setting of tables and work station areas as well as clearing tables.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, and areas in

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
