Job summary

Office Pride Commercial Cleaning of Virginia is seeking a dependable, hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to lead frontline cleaning employees and support daily operations at assigned customer locations in Virginia. This is a working supervisor role combining cleaning duties with staff management.

You will perform cleaning tasks, supervise staff, conduct inspections, manage scheduling, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial cleaning experience and three years of supervisory or management experience, or
• Three years of management experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another service-based industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial cleaning duties as needed.
• Lead, train, coach, and support frontline employees.
• Conduct employee check-ins and quality inspections.
• Identify and correct cleaning deficiencies.
• Help coordinate coverage for call-outs and open positions.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to assigned customer locations.
• Monitor supply inventory and maintain organized janitorial closets.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
• Respond professionally to routine customer requests and concerns.
• Communicate staffing, quality, safety, and supply concerns to the Senior Site Manager.
• Complete required inspections, check-ins, and operational reports.

Office Pride is seeking a dependable, hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to lead frontline cleaning employees and support the daily operations of assigned customer locations.

This is a working supervisor position. The Cleaning Supervisor will perform cleaning duties while also helping manage employees, inspections, staffing coverage, supplies, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial cleaning duties as needed.
• Lead, train, coach, and support frontline employees.
• Conduct employee check-ins and quality inspections.

Qualifications

Candidates must have one of the following:

• At least three years of commercial cleaning experience and three years of supervisory or management experience; or
• At least three years of management experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another service-based industry.

Candidates must also have:

• A valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• The flexibility to work schedules based on customer and operational needs

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Push and pull cleaning carts and equipment
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment
• Travel between assigned customer locations
