Office Pride Commercial Cleaning of Virginia is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client locations in Virginia, including Richmond and surrounding areas. The role manages frontline cleaners, leads, and supervisors while ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.

This full-time position offers a base salary of $60,000 with potential for about $66,000 in monthly bonuses and up to $70,000 with commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial cleaning, facilities management, or related experience.
• Proven experience leading employees and managing multiple locations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
• Bilingual Spanish and/or OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple client sites.
• Manage, coach, train, and develop cleaners, leads, and supervisors.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, call-out coverage, supplies, and equipment.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train employees.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers and address service concerns.
• Conduct customer walkthroughs and provide operational updates.
• Coordinate specialty cleaning and additional service work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and cleaning standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning operations across multiple client locations. This position manages frontline cleaners, leads, and supervisors while ensuring strong service quality, reliable staffing, customer satisfaction, and efficient daily operations.

The assigned territory may include, but is not limited to, Sandston, Orange, Goochland, Stuarts Draft, Richmond, and Charlottesville, Virginia. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required.

$60,000 base salary , with potential for approximately $66,000 through regular monthly bonuses * and up to $70,000 with commission opportunities *.

Schedule & Travel

This is not a typical 9-to-5 position. Expect 50+ hours per week with significant schedule flexibility.

Evening hours are required , with daytime availability needed for customer visits, inspections, meetings, and training. Early mornings, later evenings, and weekends may also be required for call-outs, training, troubleshooting, and operational needs.

Regular travel between customer locations is required. The assigned area may include Sandston, Orange, Goochland, Stuarts Draft, Richmond, Charlottesville, and other surrounding or future customer locations.

Access to a company van is provided as part of the position. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
