Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Cleaner for their location in Cedarbrook, Pennsylvania. The role is vital in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all club members.

Basic responsibilities include following a daily cleaning checklist, sanitizing fitness equipment, locker rooms, and report any issues to management. Candidates should have custodial experience, be at least 18 years old, and ideally possess a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Job Location: L014 Cheltenham - Wyncote, PA 19095. Position Type: Full Time. Job Shift: Any. Full-time starts at $11-12 per hour. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday. Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Cleaner Responsibilities

The Cleaner plays a significant role in helping to transform the lives of club members by providing a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

• Thoroughly complete cleaning checklist daily to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms, restroom facilities, shower facilities, and locker area.
• Properly dispose of trash, stock supplies around the club and in locker rooms.
• Report broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.

Job Requirements

• Successful prior custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
