Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee all aspects of the front-end operations, including customer service, staff training, scheduling, performance, productivity, shrink management, sanitation, and safety.

Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedules, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Supervise checkout cashiers, assist with checkouts, resolve customer issues, and manage checkout lanes based on customer flow.
  3. Perform assigned store projects related to customer experience.
  4. Model exceptional customer service for team members.
  5. Perform additional duties related to front-end operations, customer service, team management, cash control, productivity, shrink, and food safety as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations.
  • Physical capability to meet ergonomic requirements, with or without accommodations.
  • Willingness to learn and operate relevant equipment and tools.
  • Meet performance standards, including attendance.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience or technical training.
  • Strong skills in training, communication, team building, planning, and organization.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and sense of urgency.
  • Leadership qualities that motivate team members and recognize their contributions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer register and cash management systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Minimum 8-hour shifts, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Maximum job cycle: continual.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for approximately 55% of the shift and walk for 45%.
  • Category IV physical demands, including lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs.
  • Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.
