Job summary

Touchmark Georgetown is hiring full-time Med Techs to join our assisted living and memory care community north of Austin. Shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

You will administer medications, support residents with dignity, and work with a caring team dedicated to excellence, hospitality, integrity and compassion. The ideal candidate has at least one year of Med Tech experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and is willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of Med Tech experience is preferred.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following procedures to residents in assisted living and memory care.

We are currently hiring for full-time Med Tech positions with the following shifts available:

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

As a Med Tech, you will enrich lives every day by relying on your experience and knowledge of medication administration procedures to ensure that residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods receive the highest level of dignity and care. The Ideal Candidate Will

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have at least one year of Med Tech experience
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
