Primary Purpose

Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department. Maintain standards according to the practice manual, maximize sales through excellent customer service, and minimize shrink through proper utilization of procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain an enthusiastic customer-focused environment, emphasizing fast, friendly, and accurate service.
2. Be courteous and helpful to colleagues.
3. Understand ingredients, mixes, icings, and color coordination.
4. Follow production standards and technical manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
5. Ensure proper sanitation, food handling, and department cleanliness.
6. Manage merchandise ordering, receiving, preparation, and display according to policies.
7. Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and standards.
8. Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety procedures, report accidents, and correct unsafe conditions.
9. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
10. Wear appropriate uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
11. Use company tools like ACIS and CAO effectively.
12. Complete required training courses.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
3. Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical skills.
4. Ability to solve problems using technical information.
5. Must meet minimum age requirements.
6. Ability to meet physical requirements with or without accommodations.

Physical Requirements

1. Use of computers and communication systems.
2. Repetitive hand and arm motions.
3. Lift up to 15 lbs. continuously, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. occasionally.
4. Pull or push up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
5. Stand continuously, walk short distances.
