Job summary

Rhoback is hiring a full-time Associate to join our front-line sales team in Dallas. You will open and close the store, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and ensure security protocols are followed.

You’ll be the go-to resource the store relies on, upholding Rhoback brand standards and helping teammates succeed. You will engage customers with authenticity, learn product fabrics and stories, and contribute to inventory and merchandising efforts.

The Role

As an FT Associate with keys, you are a trusted leader on the sales floor and a critical part of the store's daily operations. In addition to delivering an exceptional customer experience, you hold responsibility for opening and closing the store, ensuring security protocols are followed, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of store management. You set the tone for the team—leading by example, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring every customer and teammate has what they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Greet every customer warmly and authentically—make them feel like they've walked into a place that was ready for them.
• Engage in genuine conversation to understand each customer's needs, lifestyle, and preferences, then deliver personalized product recommendations and styling suggestions.
• Serve as a true Rhoback product expert: know the fabrics, the fit, the function, and the story behind what you sell.
• Assist customers with fitting room needs, product availability, and special requests.
• Actively contributes to store sales goals through strong engagement, upselling, and building lasting customer relationships.
• Capture customer contact information when appropriate to support relationship-building and follow-up.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, returns, and exchanges with care and integrity.
• Handle customer concerns professionally, escalating to management when needed.
• As needed open and/or close the store according to established procedures, ensuring all security and safety protocols are followed.
• Arm and disarm the store alarm system; maintain accountability for store keys and access codes.
• Act as the leader on duty when store leadership is not present, making sound decisions to support team and customer needs.
• Complete opening and closing checklists accurately and consistently, including cash handling procedures (counting drawers, preparing deposits, and reconciling tills).
• Communicate any issues, incidents, or operational needs observed during opening/closing shifts to the Store Leader promptly.
• Ensure the store is secured at close—lights, registers, doors, and all equipment properly shut down.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards—keep displays full, folded, sized, organized, and true to the Rhoback aesthetic at all times.
• Support inventory tasks including restocking, folding, and organizing product on the floor and in the stockroom.
• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom clean, organized, and safe.
• Actively support store promotions, events, and initiatives.
• Represent the Rhoback brand in everything you do—your attitude, your appearance, your knowledge, and your energy all matter.

• Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems (POS; Shopify POS a plus).
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.
• A no-task-too-small mindset—willing to do whatever the business needs, especially in the absence of store management.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail sales or a customer-facing role preferred; prior key holder experience a plus.
• A passion for an active, healthy lifestyle that aligns with the Rhoback ethos.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred; prior key holder or supervisory experience a plus.
• A strong attitude and eagerness to grow will be considered in lieu of direct experience.

Compensation

Base salary range: $19.00 - $23.50/hour. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include an FTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
