Management Dallas, TX, US

Salary Range: $22.50 To $28.80 Hourly

Company Mission:

Rhoback is a community of passionate and motivated people looking to generate positivity, bring people together, and inspire activity by creating high-quality products and engaging content for those who seek inspiration, motivation, and connection with a #craveactivity mentality.

The Role

Rhoback is looking for a driven, people-first leader to join us as Assistant Manager. In this role, you are an essential partner to the Store Manager—leading on the sales floor, maintaining operational excellence, and bringing the Rhoback brand to life through compelling product presentation and an exceptional customer experience. You lead from the front: achieving sales goals and driving the business forward is always the top priority, and your operational and visual skills are the tools that make it happen. This full-time, on-site role reports directly to the Store Manager.

What You’ll Do
  • Actively lead and engage on the sales floor during every shift—modeling exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and personally driving sales.
  • Support the Store Manager in building and maintaining a high-performance sales culture where every team member is focused on achieving goals.
  • Leverage product placement, storytelling, and visual strategy to support commercial goals and increase conversion and transaction value.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and take action to close them—always operating with full integrity.
  • Act as Leader-on-Duty during designated shifts, making decisions and leading the team with confidence and accountability.
  • Execute all store operational processes: opening and closing procedures, cash handling, daily reconciliation, and security protocols.
  • Manage inventory operations end-to-end: receiving product, restocking the floor, conducting cycle counts, and executing transfers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all operational procedures are followed consistently and with integrity.
  • Oversee scheduling and payroll administration in alignment with labor budget and business needs.
  • Manage the physical environment—fixtures, lighting, cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are always upheld.
  • Monitor store KPIs and operational metrics; proactively surface opportunities and solutions to the Store Manager.
  • Act as a key liaison between the store and headquarters on operational matters, systems, and supply needs.
  • Own the visual standards of the store, executing floor sets, seasonal transitions, and brand directives from headquarters with precision and creativity.
  • Translate the Rhoback brand aesthetic into a compelling, shoppable in-store environment that excites and engages customers.
  • Keep all marketing materials, signage, windows, and brand touchpoints current, clean, and impactful.
  • Monitor visual KPIs (sell-through by placement, feature performance) and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  • Partner with headquarters on visual direction, providing on-the-ground feedback and adapting directives to local context as needed.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members with a focus on operational standards, visual presentation, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Coach and develop team members through real-time feedback and consistent performance conversations.
  • Train the full store team on visual standards, folding, product presentation, and replenishment best practices.
  • Lead by example in all things: attitude, effort, accountability, and brand representation.
What We’re Looking For
  • Sales-driven mindset—comfortable setting expectations and holding the team accountable to results.
  • Strong operational instincts with proven experience managing inventory, scheduling, and store processes.
  • Creative vision with a commercial mindset—visual excellence and business results go hand in hand.
  • Deep understanding of visual merchandising principles: color, proportion, storytelling, fixture use, and traffic flow.
  • Experience with Shopify POS or comparable systems; basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong alignment with the Rhoback brand and #craveactivity values.
What Success Looks Like
  • The store’s daily operations run seamlessly—opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation are executed accurately and on time, every time.
  • The store consistently looks like the best expression of the Rhoback brand—floor sets, displays, and windows are executed on time and to standard.
  • Inventory is reliable: receiving, restocking, cycle counts, and warehouse transfers happen like clockwork, and counts consistently reconcile.
  • Visual strategy measurably drives results: featured placements convert, and sell-through reflects smart, intentional product placement.
  • The team is set up to win—schedules are published on time, aligned to traffic patterns, and within labor budget.
  • The entire team understands and maintains visual standards—folding, presentation, and replenishment hold up throughout the day.
  • The Store Manager trusts you to run the store in their absence, and headquarters sees you as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner.
Education and Experience
  • 3+ years of retail experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing inventory, scheduling, and store operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with visual merchandising standards and execution.
