Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer for locations in Stamford and Bridgeport, CT. The role is full-time with day/evening shifts and a starting wage of $28.60 per hour.

Requirements include 3 years of law enforcement or 5 years armed security, CT Carry and CT Armed security licenses, and a High School Diploma. Excellent communication and de-escalation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years armed security experience.
• CT Carry permit required.
• CT Armed security license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• English speaking, reading and writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Staying very alert.
• Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility.
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients.
• Using oral de-escalation when needed.
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur.
