Meridian Senior Living in Conroe, TX is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care.

Candidates must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass health and background checks. Excellent teamwork and communication with residents, families, staff, and vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and complete training as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as part of a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with positioning, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
