Responsibilities include supporting accountdetails and assisting department and field personnel with issues and questions. JOB DUTIES• Assists in ensuring general ledger accounts are maintained in accordance with GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Prepares journal entries on general ledger accounts. Prepares balance sheetreconciliations, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of reconciling items.• Evaluates trends, identifies and investigates unusual or unexpected account variancesand communicates results to department. Makes recommendations to resolve issues andmakes corrections.• Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETypically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and zero (0) to two (2) years of relatedexperience. Master's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.
