Job summary

Stock Yards in Aurora, IL is seeking a Quality Control Associate to ensure product quality from receiving through shipping in a refrigerated facility. You will perform incoming and outgoing inspections, monitor temperatures and packaging, and validate compliance with purchasing specs and weights.

You will also perform QC checks on product samples, assist with inventory control, and participate in training and reporting. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks and trailer inspections.
• Conduct outgoing finished product inspections and verify orders.
• Run daily steak cutting quality checks and monitor yield.
• Support inventory control and periodic QC reporting.
