Job summary

Stock Yards is seeking a Quality Control/FSQA support role at our Aurora, IL facility. The position focuses on improving product quality and ensuring compliance with food safety standards across receiving, processing and shipping functions.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in a food production environment, a high school diploma or GED, and preference for HACCP certification. Overtime may be required with a strong commitment to GMPs and SSOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks (trailer cleanliness, temperature, condition).
• Inspect outgoing finished products for accuracy and packaging integrity.
• Monitor CCP verification, equipment calibration, metal detector operation and aging inventory.
