Job summary

Home Chef Tempo is seeking a QA Associate to ensure the food safety and quality of all products labeled, portioned, cooked, packaged and shipped from the facility. You will work with production to perform on-the-line checks against recipes and quality standards, and you will follow GMPs and SQF programs.

Responsibilities include CCP and CQPs verifications, inspections, labeling accuracy, environmental monitoring, training peers, and escalation of deviations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Verifications of CCPs & CQPs and inspections to ensure food safety and quality.
• Verify ingredients align with recipes and temperature controls.
• Inspect labeling accuracy and on-line checks (metal detection, pH, oxygen, seal integrity).
• Escalate deviations and assist with product disposition as needed.
• Conduct GMP inspections and sanitation verifications with proper documentation.
• Environmental monitoring sampling and adherence to Food Defense protocols.
• Assist in training new employees on Food Safety practices.
