Zusammenfassung

HelloFresh Abbotsford is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to join our site team. You will support FSQA by monitoring records, conducting inspections, sampling, and training colleagues.

This role is critical for ensuring the safety and quality of our products across the distribution centre. You will collaborate with Production, Receiving and Quality teams, follow HACCP and Safe Food for Canadians regulations, and operate within a refrigerated environment.

Qualifikationen

• Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical or Food Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a food safety or quality assurance role in the food, cosmetic or other regulated industry.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and Canadian regulations (Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and GFSI schemes).
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, varying shifts and holiday work.
• Willing to work in refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C).
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Proficient with MS Office/Google Suite and remote meeting tools.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and maintain FSQA records and GMP logs.
• Perform QC inspections of incoming materials and in-process products.
• Conduct sanitation checks of equipment and processing areas.
• Deliver FSQA training to staff.
• Support environmental sampling and shelf-life studies with QA team.
• Escalate product non-conformances with clear tickets.
• Communicate effectively with Operations, Procurement and Logistics.
• Uphold HelloFresh FSQA protocols and OH&S compliance.
