Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America in Portland is seeking an FSQA Technician to ensure food safety and quality across production. You will perform line checks, verify HACCP/GMP compliance, and conduct microbiological and chemical analyses on finished goods and environment.

The role includes maintaining the lab and inventory, updating SOPs, training staff, and completing paperwork accurately. Benefits begin on day one and include a 401(k) match and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years related experience in food safety or quality.
• Proficient computer skills for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Food Safety Program including audits and line checks.
• Carry out verification processes and monitor HACCP/GMP compliance.
• Prepare pre-shipment approvals and complete paperwork accurately.
• Train employees and perform other FSQA tasks as assigned.
• Maintain lab operations and inventory, calibrate equipment.
