Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats LLC seeks an entry-level Food Safety & Quality Assurance Associate to help maintain food safety and quality in our processing plant in Utah. You will perform pre-operational inspections, monitor processes, and ensure adherence to GMPs and HACCP standards while supporting QA documentation and corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have certification in one production department.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Available for assigned shift.
• Knowledge of poultry or food industries is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational and operational sanitary inspection of production and auxiliary areas in the plant.
• Verify temperatures, injection tests, net weight checks, product quality checks, label verification, metal detection and sell by verification; document findings.
• Verify employees’ adherence to GMPs, SSOP, and company policies
• Monitor activities at documented frequencies
• Place non-conforming product on QA Hold status
• Accurately document all FSQA paperwork to meet quality standards
• Support Daily’s business objectives with related QA tasks as needed
