Job summary

Pilgrim's is hiring an FSQA Tech Afternoon shift at our Minnesota plant to perform food safety inspections, verify quality, document results, and follow plant procedures. This role requires teamwork and the ability to operate testing equipment and computer systems in a cold environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–2:00 AM with some weekends; base pay $22.94/hr plus $1.00 shift differential, with benefits after 60 days, PTO, 401(k) match, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate testing equipment.
• Proficient computer use for emails, databases, spreadsheets, and graphics.
• Ability to work in cold environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Team orientation and good collaboration.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

Responsibilities:

• Perform food safety inspections and quality verifications
• Document inspection results
• Follow proper plant procedures and policies
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Ability to understand and operate testing equipment
• Ability to use computer for things such as email routine data base activities, spreadsheets and graphics
• Ability to work in cold environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Or more
• Ability work well with othersl
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)
