Job summary

JBS USA in Perry, IA is seeking a FSQA Systems Manager to oversee facility-wide food safety and quality documentation, regulatory programs, and audit readiness. You will verify HACCP, SSOP, and SQF compliance, manage records, and support continuous improvement with the FSQA leadership team.

The role requires 3–5 years in meat or food manufacturing FSQA, knowledge of SQF/GFSI schemes, and strong communication and analytical skills. On-site, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Animal Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• 3–5 years FSQA experience in meat or food manufacturing.
• Experience with SQF or other GFSI schemes and regulatory audits preferred.
• Proficient with USDA/FSIS regulations, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update FSQA systems including HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, SQF docs to ensure compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for USDA/FSIS and third-party audits.
• Document control and record management for FSQA procedures and training.
• Analyze non-conformances and audit findings to drive improvements.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions with operations and QA leadership.
