Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Supervisor FSQA to uphold food safety and quality standards on a dedicated shift. You will lead FSQA technicians, verify records, and coordinate audits to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SSOPs across the production line.

The role requires 1 year in food manufacturing and preferred HACCP/HARPC certifications, with strong communication skills and SAP familiarity. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year in a food manufacturing environment required, supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC certifications preferred; knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP and SSOPs.
• SAP knowledge preferred; basic computer skills for queries and spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Verify records for accuracy and currency.
• Conduct audits and assist FSQA manager with compliance.
• Prepare facility for GFSI and customer audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints and environmental issues.
• Verify production paperwork and perform floor checks.
• Perform GMP and housekeeping audits for cleanliness.
• Oversee HACCP reassessment annually.
• Facilitate team member food safety training.
• Flexible work hours; cover other shifts as needed.
• Occasional weekend work as assigned.
• Communicate with onsite regulators (USDA).
