Job summary

Western Valley Meat Company in Fresno, CA is seeking an FSQR Tech I to monitor sanitary dressing processes, verify compliance with GMP/HACCP/SSOP, and provide feedback to operations on food safety issues.

You will perform area monitoring, assist in audits, and help train staff; must have strong English communication, be able to work in hot/cold environments, and be prepared for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in meat processing preferred.
• Identify food safety violations and quality issues.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Able to work in hot/cold, wet environments and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sanitary dressing processes and verify compliance with procedures.
• Conduct Animal Welfare Audits.
• Monitor HACCP/SSOP and verification activities.
• Perform SRM Audits and Offal Quality Audits.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
