Job summary

Candyco-LLC seeks an FSQA Manager with strong knowledge of food manufacturing, microbiology, and raw material programs to ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment. The role leads the plant's Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs, aligning with company, customer, and government procedures.

The successful candidate will develop SQF, HACCP, and supplier quality programs, perform audits and testing oversight, and drive improvements to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college and 5+ years in food quality control.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOP, and FDA/USDA standards.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the plant's Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs.
• Lead and develop the quality team at plant level.
• Inspect and audit operations for GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs.
• Develop and maintain SQF/HACCP/SSOP documents and procedures.
• Coordinate corrective actions and regulatory communications.
• Lead quality improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
