Job summary

Novus Foods LLC is seeking a seasoned FSQA Manager to oversee food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at the Taunton, MA facility. You will lead the FSQA team, drive improvements, and partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to uphold top safety standards.

Responsibilities include audits, CAPA, KPI delivery, and ensuring compliance with SQF and other regulatory programs while mentoring staff and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Four year applied science degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive food safety and QA experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical settings.
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, HACCP, USDA and SSOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing FSQA team, fostering a strong food safety culture.
• Own FSQA performance and ensure regulatory alignment with company goals.
• Lead internal and external audits and readiness activities for food safety compliance.
• Act as onsite authority for FSQA decisions and stay current on safety trends.
• Collaborate with operations and other functions to embed FSQA in daily plant activities.
