W3Global is seeking an FSQA Coordinator for our Coachella Valley, CA facility. The role focuses on maintaining and improving our SQF-based food safety and quality systems, auditing readiness, and training across departments.

On-site, with growth toward FSQA leadership based on performance. The ideal candidate has a science/engineering background, 3+ years in food safety/QA, and SQF-related credentials, with experience in dairy or dairy-alternatives being a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Degree concentration in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or similar discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of food safety/QA in food manufacturing; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in dairy or non-dairy cultured products, pasteurized beverages, or aseptic filling preferred.
• Knowledge of GLP and basic microbiology practices.
• SQF Practitioner training required; prior SQF certification audits experience preferred.
• HACCP certification preferred; PCQI certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the site SQF Practitioner and lead ongoing SQF system maintenance including transition to SQF Edition 10.
• Drive key FSQA programs through cross-functional teams and audits preparation.
• Act as primary FSQA contact during SQF, Organic, Kosher, customer and third-party audits and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, Organic, Kosher, and customer requirements.
• Perform routine monitoring, validation, and documentation reviews for compliance.
• Establish and run the monthly internal facility audit/self-inspection program with corrective action tracking.
• Develop, implement, and maintain FSQA programs and records (Food Safety Plan, Food Defense, Recall, etc.).
• Investigate and escalate food safety/quality issues and drive CAPAs through closure.
• Coordinate FSQA training records and support training on GMPs, allergens, traceability, recall, etc.
• Collaborate with QA, R&D, Ops, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain on SOPs and continuous improvement.
• Support ingredient specifications, production documentation, and GMPs documentation.
