EY seeks a Manager for its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Hoboken, New Jersey. In this role, you'll provide innovative solutions and insights to clients facing complex financial challenges.
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and a CPA certification, with expertise in US GAAP and a focus on strategic transactions. This position offers extensive growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
Location: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, Dallas, Hoboken, McLean, New York
Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing. As a Manager in our Transactions group, you will play a critical role in shaping and sustaining momentum across a broad range of industries. You will develop and communicate innovative, strategic solutions both internally and with clients, focusing on delivering tailored insights and an exceptional client experience.
This role requires a strong focus on listening to and understanding our clients’ unique challenges, enabling you to deliver insights in an environment where there are no “off-the-shelf” solutions. You will advise companies on complex financial reporting and accounting matters, including—but not limited to—revenue recognition; share-based payments; financial asset transfers and securitizations; consolidation; leases; and mergers and acquisitions.
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. You will develop a deep understanding of key complex accounting areas and use that knowledge to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to help clients develop answers to complex issues. You will collaborate with colleagues within FAAS and across multiple service lines, building relationships and identifying opportunities to bring insights across all disciplines beyond accounting. Regular travel may be required as you meet with key clients, some of whom are highly respected in their fields.
We’re interested in versatile people who can take on new responsibilities and listen to clients to help them meet their goals. We’re not just looking for technical accounting experience—we’re after genuinely interesting people who can build relationships, negotiate, present and think creatively. If you’re a confident leader with a curious mind and the ability to solve complex issues, this role is for you.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on performance, plus a Total Rewards package that includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, vacation and holidays, and other well-being programs.
