As part of our rapid growth, we are looking for a Federal System Integrator Sales Engineer to join our amazing team in the US working virtually!

As a Federal System Integrator Sales Engineer, you will work to enable our FSI and channel partner community, with a special focus on federal system integrators and federal customers, to effectively sell the Axonius cybersecurity platform. You will provide technical guidance, share product updates, and develop technical training programs. You will be responsible for conducting in-person and remote product demos, articulating the technical value of products, and driving successful outcomes for partner programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical sales lead throughout the pre-sales cycle, including owning proofs-of-value (POV) results and driving their success, co-leading customer relationships with sales executives, and giving technical demos.
  • Become the technical subject matter expert in the Axonius platform and its integrations, and continuously maintain the expertise.
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to channel partners, with a focus on federal systems integrators (FSIs) and federal customers.
  • Assist sales in the development and implementation of sales objectives and account-based penetration strategies.
  • Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to effectively address customer questions.
  • Educate partners on Axonius products and benefits and perform joint training with the Channel Account Manager.
  • Onboard partners onto Axonius lab environments.
  • Train partners to give demos and run POCs.
  • Develop and execute training curricula for the partner community, ensuring comprehensive understanding of the Axonius platform.
  • Build lasting relationships with partner technical teams.
  • Provide updates about new product features to the partner community.
  • Participate in webinars and provide compelling content to channel partners.
  • Learn our partner’s security stack and demonstrate how Axonius can help the channel sell more of their security portfolio when combined with Axonius.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders, including CTOs, CEOs, and other executives at channel partners and FSIs, to ensure alignment and support for federal customer initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador of Axonius, leading training sessions on the Axonius platform and articulating its benefits to partner field engineers and to partner executive-level audiences.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years industry experience in sales engineering.
  • Ability to travel to see partners and attend events.
  • Technical background in Internet security principles.
  • Strong understanding of how Internet protocols work (HTTP, SMTP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocols, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.), endpoint security technologies (AV, EDR, Next-gen AV, etc.), cloud security principles, vulnerability management.
  • Prior experience in working with the channel, VAR, carrier, or system integrator community, especially those focused on federal customers or military equivalent experience.
  • Experience presenting at multiple levels, from C-Suite to Solution users.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to see and present “the Big Picture”, uncover business challenges, and architect a solution to solve customer business issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, customer focus, and strong sense of ownership over customer results.
