Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Information Technology Assurance Specialist to join the AWS FSI Security and Compliance team in New York. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Internal Audit teams, executives, and stakeholders through the audit and due-diligence processes for financial services customers, guiding adoption of AWS cloud services.

You will showcase AWS best practices, AI capabilities, and scalable assurance solutions while collaborating with internal teams to deliver timely

Qualifications

• 6+ years of working with Business Application Technologies (EUC, Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, etc.).
• 6+ years of solving problems with technology in the Global Financial Services Industry.
• 6+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
• 6+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making.
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance, operations, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers' Internal Audit teams, executives, and all stakeholders involved in AWS cloud adoption.
• Build deep relationships with global financial institutions, from enterprise banks to Fintech startups.
• Engage decision-makers at all levels during due diligence and audit processes.
• Demonstrate AWS best practices, tools, and frameworks that simplify customers' audit and due diligence processes.
• Build and showcase AWS AI technologies and automation.
• Develop tailored solutions addressing specific assurance requirements of financial services customers.
• Publish content such as blogs and whitepapers to shape cloud assurance best practices.
• Bring industry insights back to inform AWS strategy and customer engagements.
• Work cross-functionally with internal AWS teams to deliver best practices and requirements to customers.
• Drive internal stakeholders and SMEs to ensure timely delivery of customer audit needs.
