Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a Fryer Operator to join a hands-on production team. The role operates fryer equipment, performs routine maintenance, and helps ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

The position requires 1–2 years of food manufacturing experience, ability to work in warm environments, and strong teamwork and data-entry skills. Rotating schedule: Friday to Sunday & Thursday to Sunday, 6:00AM–6:30PM.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work in warm to hot environments.
• Experience operating production and data entry equipment.
• Capable of basic mechanical tasks with tools like Allen wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out safety practices.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Must lift up to 70 lbs and work around hot equipment.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.
