Job Summary

The Fry Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of menu items per recipe standards.

Essential Job Functions
  • Prepares, broiled, fried, baked and grilled food items in accordance to kitchen needs.
  • Operates grill, fryer, broiler, oven, and French top as required.
  • Performs preliminary preparation work in a timely manner.
  • Ensures ingredient supply levels are accurate.
  • Moves items from shelves to carts and transports to stations for restocking.
  • Maintains proper par levels of food items in assigned stations.
  • Maintains a sanitary and organized work area.
  • Follows safety and health codes and regulations.
  • Ensures all areas are clean and free of debris.
  • Properly cares for, stores, uses, and cleans all tools and equipment.
  • Handles perishables correctly, maintaining quality and safety.
  • Prepares food according to recipes and standards.
  • Communicates effectively with team members.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a cook.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands

Fast-paced environment with multiple tasks under time constraints. Requires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching. Must handle carts up to 70 lbs, pots up to 100 lbs, and work in hot/cold conditions.
