Indis Fast Food Restaurant in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a motivated Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in serving hot, delicious food, we want to hear from you.

You will work at a busy fry station and help ensure quick, consistent quality for every order. Responsibilities include operating fryers safely, cooking items to order, maintaining temps and sanitation, and collaborating with staff to fulfill orders promptly.

Formación

• Prior fry cook/line cook experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor deep fryers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare and cook menu items to order according to Indis' quality and timing standards
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety and handling procedures
• Keep the fry station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift
• Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely order fulfillment
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory as needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
