Job summary

The Press Club Grill in Fernley, NV is seeking a dedicated Fry Cook to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare and cook fried chicken products, maintain quality, and work with a collaborative kitchen team. Experience in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work weekends/evenings are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as fry cook or similar in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook fried chicken products according to standardized recipes.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in the cooking process.
• Operational Excellence: Follow established cooking procedures to meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and manage fryer temperatures and cooking times for optimal results.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing of food production.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and equipment.
• Practice proper handwashing and hygiene to ensure food safety.
• Work with kitchen team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Contribute to creating a positive customer experience by delivering high-quality fried chicken products.
• Assist in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
