Job summary

Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth, MI is hiring a Fry Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This part-time role offers 20–40 hours per week at $16.75 per hour, with shifts such as 11am–7pm or 2pm–11pm. This is an on-site position in a high-energy kitchen.

You will work with a commercial fryer, preparing fried menu items to quality standards, and maintaining a clean, safe work station. Prior fryer or kitchen experience is preferred, with training provided to learn menus and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ months restaurant or commercial kitchen experience; fryer experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Willing to learn the menu, recipes, and kitchen procedures.
• Comfortable working around heat, hot oil, and commercial cooking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fried menu items according to established recipes, cooking times, and quality standards.
• Safely operate commercial fryers and monitor cooking temperatures.
• Coordinate multiple orders while maintaining proper timing and food quality.
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized.

We’re looking for someone who can stay focused underpressure, communicate with the team, and work with a sense of urgency to keeporders moving. Commercial fryer experience is preferred, but we’ll alsoconsider someone with restaurant kitchen experience who can quickly learn thestation.

What You’llDo
