Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods in McDonough, GA is hiring for a production operator responsible for safe production and quality of frozen fruit. You will operate, maintain and sanitize packaging equipment while following GMP, HACCP, safety and company policies.

You will perform tasks such as setting up machinery, monitoring line performance, keeping accurate production records, and ensuring materials are available to minimize downtime. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in cool temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as labels, schedules and safety rules.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Previous operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Safety Rules and GMPs, adhere to SOPs for equipment operation.
• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
• Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available.
• Maintain accurate production records and adjust as required.
• Identify defects and correct as needed; maintain housekeeping and safety.
• Work across production and packaging areas and meet performance standards.
