Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of department products and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Inform customers of frozen food specials and promotions.
• Recommend frozen food items to meet customer needs.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates; take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Support safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Report any theft or fraud; work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues; interact with diverse customers.
