Job summary

ShopRite of Norwich in Norwich, CT is seeking a Frozen Foods Associate to price, stock, and rotate merchandise while keeping the department neat and visually appealing. You will perform duties safely and in line with Company policy to help customers have a great experience.

You will assist customers, work with colleagues, and participate in training and adherence to ShopRite service priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed foods safely.
• Ability to operate in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the department.
• Operate a baler and compactor.
• Monitor temperatures and report equipment issues promptly.
• Know Frozen Foods products, prices, and usage.
• Stock and rotate merchandise using handheld terminals.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and proper labeling.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
