Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Frozen Food Clerk to keep frozen cases stocked and clean while assisting customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor. The role follows department procedures and supports overall store operations.

The position focuses on stock rotation, accurate pricing, and safety in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED.
• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Frozen department processes and procedures.
• Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
• Must be able to support and contribute to team goals.
• Must have basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of frozen cases, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks frozen cases with product, facing, filling, and pricing accuracy.
• Examines rotation of frozen products and discards expired stock.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists with purchases and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Monitors point-of-purchase signs and promotional materials.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Uses scales and weight measures to weigh and label products.
• Maintains high product knowledge and preparation.
• Walks department regularly to maintain organization, sanitation, and appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
