Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a detail-oriented Frozen Supervisor to lead daily Frozen Department operations, ensuring top-quality products, strict inventory control, strong merchandising, and excellent customer service. You will supervise and train staff, manage pricing and promotions, and uphold food safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and profitability through effective ordering, displays, and guest experience, with leadership on duty when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Frozen Department.
• Ensure shelves, bunkers, and displays are fully stocked and properly merchandised.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain in-stock conditions while minimizing shrink.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and promotional execution.
• Maintain department standards for cleanliness, organization, and product presentation.
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop department associates.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and performance.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
• Assist in onboarding and training new associates.
• Provide feedback and support to help associates achieve departmental goals.
• Deliver exceptional service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure associates consistently provide a friendly and welcoming shopping experience.
• Promote department products and seasonal offerings to drive sales.
• Manage inventory levels through effective ordering and replenishment practices.
• Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory as needed.
• Control shrink through proper rotation, storage, and handling procedures.
• Support department sales, labor, and profitability goals.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain proper freezer temperatures and document temperature logs as required.
• Ensure all products meet freshness, quality, and date code standards.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and address potential safety concerns within the department.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to achieve overall store goals.
• Support seasonal resets, promotional events, and company initiatives.
• Assist in other store operations as business needs require.
• Serve as a leader on duty when assigned.

Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Department Operations
