Job summary

Armstrong Group is hiring a Production Quality Technician in Chino, CA. You will ensure raw materials are correctly prepared, monitor production, and inspect final products for quality, while documenting QA processes and driving improvements.

You will perform CIP and batch processing, sanitation tasks, microbiological sampling, and environmental monitoring. Proficiency with HMI, QA software, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• One plus years within a food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience with Food Safety, HACCP, SQF, Sanitation (SSOP & GMP) and/or other food safety systems and QA process improvement skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure finished products are ready for packaging by preparing raw material inputs, monitoring production, and inspecting products for quality.
• Review and document QA processes and suggest improvements.
• Perform CIP and batch processing, handling stainless-steel piping and hoses.
• Participate in sanitation tasks and environmental monitoring sampling.
• Record microbiological data and report findings to Quality Manager.
• Use HMI to call ingredients for bulk processing and transfers.
• Support production with mix making, cleaning, testing, and sanitation scheduling.
• Verify color, taste, quantity, wrap, and Rainbow Array meet standards.
• Comply with HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP and document all procedures.
• Conduct lab functions including environmental sampling and data completion.
